What is Hummingbird like?

The Hummingbird is a cozy woodland escape built for two, tucked along a forest path that sets the tone before you even reach the front door. This cabin has one of the warmest interiors of the newer builds, with a burnt orange quilt on the queen memory foam bed, a caramel tufted headboard, and wooden feather wall art that adds a natural, handcrafted feel. The double-sided cedar wood-burning fireplace anchors the open layout, warming the bedroom and living area from both sides, and the vaulted shiplap ceiling keeps the space feeling open overhead. The hanging egg chair is a guest favorite, positioned beside a sunlit window where you can curl up with a book and watch the light change through the trees. The living area has a comfortable sofa, a flat-screen TV, and a dining space for meals. The kitchenette comes equipped with white cabinets, burner plates, a microwave, a full-size fridge, and a coffee maker, along with a mounted TV for watching while you cook. The bathroom features a glass-enclosed walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead, a granite vanity with globe lights, and neatly arranged toiletries. Outside, the private balcony hot tub overlooks the forest, and a charcoal grill and fire pit are just steps away along a path through the trees. The Hummingbird is a natural fit for couples who want a modern cabin with warm, earthy details and a setting that feels close to nature. Pets are welcome, and the flat rate covers all your pets for the entire stay.

The Hummingbird has a modern dark exterior with the wooden name sign mounted on a large tree trunk at the entry. A short path leads from the cabin toward the fire pit in a shaded clearing, with mature hardwoods spaced around the yard to give the space a quiet, enclosed feel.

House rules.

• Check-in: 4:00 PM EST. Early check-in at 2:00 PM available for $50, subject to availability.
• Check-out: 10:00 AM EST. Late checkout at 12:00 PM available for $50, subject to availability.
• Pets: Welcome. $50 flat rate covers all pets for the stay. No weight or breed restrictions. $150 fine for pet damage.
• Smoking: Not allowed indoors. $250 fine for indoor smoking.
• Quiet hours: 10 PM to 8 AM.
• Parties or events: Not permitted.

Accessibility.

• Getting in: Several steps up to the entry door, no ramp. Ask us for the exact number before booking.
• Bathroom: Walk-in shower. No roll-in shower and no grab bars.
• Layout: Single storey, no interior stairs between floors. Gravel driveway and parking pad.

Cancellation policy.

• Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in. Full refund.
• Cancellations within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable, but dates may be moved subject to availability.
• For weather-related cancellations or emergencies, please reach out. We work with guests case-by-case.
• Booked through Airbnb, Vrbo or another travel site? Those bookings follow that platform's own cancellation policy. Booking direct with us gives you the most flexible terms.
