Gift card questions
Can I buy a gift card for a specific cabin?
Gift cards are issued for a dollar amount, not for a specific cabin. The recipient chooses which cabin fits their group and dates when they book. If you want to surprise someone with a specific cabin, call or text us and we can help you time the purchase with a tentative booking.
How long is a gift card valid?
Ten years from the date of purchase. There is no expiration reminder in the inbox, so note the purchase date somewhere. If you need a balance check close to that deadline, text us and we will look it up.
Does the gift card cover fees like cleaning or pets?
Yes. The full dollar value of the gift card can be applied toward any line item in the booking, including the cleaning fee and the flat-rate pet fee. The recipient uses it the same way they would a payment method at checkout.
Can the recipient book directly with it?
Yes. They enter the gift card code at checkout on our booking system. If the stay costs more than the card, they pay the difference with a credit card. If the stay costs less, the remaining balance stays on the card for a future trip.
Can I buy multiple gift cards for a group?
Yes. You can buy as many as you want. This works well for wedding gifts where multiple family members each chip in toward a honeymoon stay.
Can I print a gift card instead of emailing it?
Yes. During the purchase you can choose email delivery, print at home, or both.
What if the recipient loses the email?
Text or email us with their name and approximate purchase date and we can resend the card. The card code is stored in our system.
