Inside, dark green walls and moody lighting give the cabin a character that stands apart from everything else on the property. The living room has a black leather sofa, a granite-surround fireplace, and a gallery wall of vintage photos that lean into the moonshine theme. The kitchenette features open shelving, a compact stove, and enough counter space to put together simple meals. A vintage Singer sewing machine repurposed as a towel stand is one of many handpicked details you will notice throughout. The bedroom has a queen bed with a rustic headboard, a ceiling fan, and forest views through the window. The bathroom has a modern vessel sink and a shower. The screened-in porch is the real showstopper. It works as a bug-free outdoor living room where you can enjoy the hot tub, a whiskey barrel side table, and spool furniture without a single mosquito. The Old Moonshiner sits off the main drive along a curved gravel lane marked by a whiskey barrel and wooden sign. "The place looked amazing from the outside, the inside had some normal wear and tear. The only problem was there was signs of mice inside of the Airbnb, there was mouse droppings in one of the bottom drawers in the kitchen. It’s in the woods so I know mice are hard to deal with but still was gross to see. Had a folder with a lot of attractions and restaurants to try that was really nice to see and look through. Definitely a nice little place for a weekend getaway for a couple."

"the cabin was absolutely amazing, very cozy, very clean. Athough the hot tub had a green tint to it, but it smelled clean, and looked clean, im not sure if its a cleaning product or not but we still enjoyed it very much. Tips to improve would be better cleaning product and a ln outdoor table would have be nice but I do highly recommend staying here it was absolutely wonderful, and worth every penny!!!!"

"Only issues I had was the hot tub was green and had a musty odor and they claimed they send me emails about pre-check in and after check out but I never received them and when I asked about it I never got a response but other then that it was absolutely beautiful it was very quiet and peaceful the windows were huge we saw a deer in the living room window before we left too I would definitely comeback to that cabin again me and my husband booked it for our mini honeymoon"

"Very cute and cozy and great location. The hamper wasn't emptied and there were no clean towels. Unfortunately it took until after noon the next day to get any and a trash bag was left on the porch.
