What is Cherokee Way like?

Cherokee Way is designed from the ground up as a couples retreat. Southwestern and Native American inspired decor gives this cabin a personality all its own, from woven basket wall art and patterned tapestries to a hand-picked dining nook with a woven pendant light. The living room features a plush sofa draped in a Southwestern blanket, a rocking chair, and warm lighting that sets the mood from the moment you arrive. The bedroom centers around a stone gas fireplace with a decorated mantel, framed by windows that look out into the forest. The firelight and the forest views make this one of the most romantic rooms on the property. The queen bed is dressed with a Native American patterned spread and framed artwork. The kitchenette counter has a coffee maker and corrugated metal backsplash, and you will find everything you need for simple meals. A separate bathroom has a pedestal sink, a walk-in shower, and thoughtful touches throughout. Outside, a side deck with stairs leads to the hot tub on the covered porch, screened by lattice for extra privacy. The fire pit and picnic table sit in a clearing among the trees. Cherokee Way is a top choice for couples celebrating an anniversary, honeymoon, or just a weekend away that feels special. Pets are welcome, and the flat rate covers all your pets for the entire stay. This cabin feels like it was made for two people who want to be nowhere else.

Cherokee Way has a bright red exterior that stands out against the green of the surrounding woods. Tall slender trees ring the gravel pad in front, where the stone fire pit, picnic table, charcoal grill, and American flag mark the outdoor space. The cabin sits up on a foundation with lattice skirting underneath the side deck.

What's included at Cherokee Way?

House rules.

• Check-in: 4:00 PM EST. Early check-in at 2:00 PM available for $50, subject to availability.
• Check-out: 10:00 AM EST. Late checkout at 12:00 PM available for $50, subject to availability.
• Pets: Welcome. $50 flat rate covers all pets for the stay. No weight or breed restrictions. $150 fine for pet damage.
• Smoking: Not allowed indoors. $250 fine for indoor smoking.
• Quiet hours: 10 PM to 8 AM.
• Parties or events: Not permitted.

Accessibility.

• Getting in: Several steps up to the entry door, no ramp. Ask us for the exact number before booking.
• Bathroom: Walk-in shower. No roll-in shower and no grab bars.
• Layout: Single storey, no interior stairs between floors. Gravel driveway and parking pad.

Cancellation policy.

• Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in. Full refund.
• Cancellations within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable, but dates may be moved subject to availability.
• For weather-related cancellations or emergencies, please reach out. We work with guests case-by-case.
• Booked through Airbnb, Vrbo or another travel site? Those bookings follow that platform's own cancellation policy. Booking direct with us gives you the most flexible terms.
