What is Dogwood Run like?

Dogwood Run is the cabin for couples who want to unplug, or at least have the option not to. It is the only newer-style cabin with two Roku TVs, one in the living room and one visible from the bed, so you can stream a movie from either side of the space. The double-sided wood-burning fireplace with a wood-paneled surround and slate hearth sits between the bedroom and living area, making the case for turning the screens off entirely. The queen memory foam bed has an iron frame and a green accent wall with bear artwork that gives this cabin a slightly bolder look than the others. The hanging egg chair, a gray sofa with throw pillows, and a bench-style dining table with seating fill out the living area. Large forest-view windows line one wall, flooding the cabin with natural light during the day. The kitchenette has white cabinets, a black refrigerator, a microwave, a stainless sink, and open wood shelves stocked with glasses, spices, and a coffee maker. The covered porch has metal chairs and a small table looking out into the woods, while the back deck holds the private hot tub with a bamboo shade for extra privacy. Down in the yard, a fire pit and charcoal grill sit under the canopy for evening cookouts. Dogwood Run is a solid pick for couples who like a mix of entertainment options and forest solitude. Pets are welcome, and the flat rate covers all your pets for the entire stay. The screens are there if you want them, but the woods will win.

Dogwood Run has a modern navy-painted exterior with a metal roof, and two large tree trunks share a root system right in front of the cabin, one of them carrying the wooden Dogwood Run name sign. The yard behind the cabin slopes down into a grassy clearing where the fire pit, charcoal grill, and metal chairs are set.

• Check-in: 4:00 PM EST. Early check-in at 2:00 PM available for $50, subject to availability.
• Check-out: 10:00 AM EST. Late checkout at 12:00 PM available for $50, subject to availability.
• Pets: Welcome. $50 flat rate covers all pets for the stay. No weight or breed restrictions. $150 fine for pet damage.
• Smoking: Not allowed indoors. $250 fine for indoor smoking.
• Quiet hours: 10 PM to 8 AM.
• Parties or events: Not permitted.

Cancellation policy.

• Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in. Full refund.
• Cancellations within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable, but dates may be moved subject to availability.
• For weather-related cancellations or emergencies, please reach out. We work with guests case-by-case.
• Booked through Airbnb, Vrbo or another travel site? Those bookings follow that platform's own cancellation policy. Booking direct with us gives you the most flexible terms.
